I’ve been struggling with writing a blog post about mental health awareness month because of my mental illness… oh the irony.

Mental health matters, (make it a priority).
Mental illness is invisible, (but it’s real).
Ask for help, (it shows strength).
You can heal from your trauma, (and you deserve to heal).
Normalize taking medication, (and going to therapy).
You are still worthy, (even on the hard days).
You are not alone, I struggle too (so much).
Do your part to end the stigma, (don’t be afraid to talk about it).

Be well, be kind, your mental health matters
It took me so long to admit that my trauma was real and to get help. Thank you for speaking out and normalizing the prioritization of mental health!
