Tonight I had my first ketamine infusion and it was quite an experience. I remember feeling really emotional and stuck wondering if I was a good person. I threw up during the treatment so they will give me medication at the beginning of my next one.
It’s been another exhausting day but I’m feeling a little lighter, like some of the darkness has faded away. It’s going to cost us $3,000 to complete these treatments. I hate that I’m spending this much money on myself but I also know that it’s necessary— the people in my life need me, I need me.
